Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Billing Specialist to support
the billing and revenue cycle process for behavioral health
services.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit insurance claims to various payors accurately
and promptly
Monitor unpaid claims and follow up to ensure timely resolution
Assist patients with billing inquiries and verify insurance
eligibility and coverage
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in
behavioral health
Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records
(EHR) systems
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Experience with claim denials, rejections, and appeals
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and HIPAA regulations
